Tuesday Truths

1. The truth is... Josh and I both really enjoyed our day off Friday. It was awesome!

2. The truth is... I still need to find a temporary home for Jack Jack while we are at Disneyland.

3. The truth is... Josh is actually doing the dishes. This is weird. He normally only does them when I'm not feeling well.

4. The truth is... I just finished the book Mockingjay. I loved it! Although I am sad that its over.

5. The truth is... 8 days... I hope I can make it!

Excited!

This is me!

Tomorrow there is no school because it is a day for professional development. Well, I found out that it isn't a blackout day for teachers. What is a blackout day? Well, its a day (the day before and the day after) days off school-such as the Friday and Tuesday before and after labor day. Teachers are not allowed to miss and get substitutes for their classes on those days. It would be chaos! Anyway, since I found out that I could take it off I decided to take a break! That way I can enjoy a day off and relax without having to worry about sub plans! It's only going to be the best day ever! I need it since it has been a long week with parent teacher conferences. Josh decided he's going to take the day off too and we are going to do some fun stuff together. I can't wait!
Hooray for a break two weeks before fall break! (I have 13 general leave days and I want to use them.)

Tuesday Truths

1. The truth is... we got new computers today at work. They are really nice... and large!

2. The truth is... Josh started an introduction to computer programming class yesterday. He's totally excited for it and is now thinking he might go in that direction. He's not far into classes so that's good and they make more money.

3. The truth is... Jack Jack looks so cute when he sleeps!

4. The truth is... Josh and I have an awesome idea for a Halloween costume for Wendi's party. I'm totally excited! We just have to borrow some play food for her kids' kitchen!

5. The truth is... 17 more days of school until fall break! Next week will be somewhat easy because we have 3 half days (parent teacher conferences) and Friday is a district training. That makes life a little easier!

Movies

Two great movies Josh and I have recently seen over the past few weeks thanks to Netflix. We are both in love with them and couldn't really predict the ending... which is awesome!

Tuesday Truths

1. The truth is... today was a really hard day. I will admit, I wanted to quit... and not because of my students.

2. The truth is... Josh finally got me sick. Thanks!

3. The truth is... its really hard to teach when you have a cold.

4. The truth is... Josh can get a good grade in school. He just finished his first section and he got A's and B's. I was excited!

5. The truth is... 22 days left of school until October Break. That is only school days, no weekends. But who's counting?
