1. The truth is... Tori doesn't take good naps. She takes several different cat naps throughout the day.
2. The truth is... Tori's blessing is on Sunday. I'm so nervous, but probably not as bad as Josh.
3. The truth is... I am going to go apply for WIC tomorrow. I hope that I get accepted because it will really help with formula costs.
4. The truth is... Josh was excited to sleep in until 6:30 this morning. Tori slept in so he was able to as well.
5. The truth is... Jack Jack smells really bad. He's getting a bath before family comes over tomorrow.

Tuesday Truths
1. The truth is... I went in for my 6 week checkup yesterday. I can now exercise and diet again. I can't wait to be able to fit in my old pants again. I'm sick of wearing the bella band I have.
2. The truth is... Tori is going through a growth spurt (or so we think). She is so fussy and rarely sleeps.
3. The truth is... We took Tori to urgent care Saturday night because she was so fussy and was having trouble breathing. Nothing was wrong. Therefore we think she is going through a growth spurt.
4. The truth is... Josh takes the morning shift for when Tori wakes up. If she wakes up after 4 in the morning he wakes up with her. Otherwise, I do it.
5. The truth is... I don't hear Tori cry after 4 in the morning. Josh doesn't hear her cry after that. It's the perfect situation. I will admit, I don't know what I would do if I were breastfeeding.

Tuesday Truths
1. The truth is... I had to make an emergency run to the vet last Thursday with Jack Jack. When coming inside from playing outside all morning he put a knee out of place. It was the scariest thing ever! After I called the vet he was perfectly fine (he put it back in place himself) but I still took him. It was difficult trying to take him and having to take Tori at the same time!
2. The truth is... I found out (a few days ago) that Josh gets holiday pay AND vacation time. Yea for him being full time!
3. The truth is... Tori is growing WAY too fast! I already have to take some clothes out of the drawer and start replacing them with 3 months or 3-6 month clothes. That is crazy! She's only a month!
4. The truth is... I cannot wait for my 6 week check up on Monday next week. It means that I will be able to start exercising again! I'm not going to diet, just eat healthy and exercise. Hopefully I will be able to button my pre-pregnancy pants after a few more weeks.
5. The truth is... Tori does not take very long naps... I wish she would. She just woke up again! GRR!

Bassinet
I have a bassinet that is up for grabs if anyone wants it or needs one. (Even if you know someone that needs it.) It has only been used for one baby and is in really good condition. It is white with pink ribbon (which can be easily taken off and changed. Someone at work gave it to me and I'm not using it.

Tuesday Truths
1. The truth is... whenever Jack Jack gets too excited he starts to barf... at least the hacking gives us warning that he needs to go outside. Most of the time he makes it.
2. The truth is... I found out yesterday that since Josh is full time he gets paid on holidays and he gets vacation time (after 90 days of course). I'm not complaining though.
3. The truth is... I'm dreading going into work and telling my principal that I'm not coming back for 4th quarter. I know that I need to be home and I've known since September, we were just waiting to see if we could get insurance or not.
4. The truth is... Tori has a double ear infection and bronchiolitis. We have to take a lot of medicine, one includes breathing treatments every 4 hours.
5. The truth is... Josh only has about 5 1/2 months left of school and graduates with his AA degree. I'm so excited! He is doing awesome!

Christmas 2011
Christmas this year was really amazing. I love the fact that I had a brand new baby to celebrate the holidays with. It was great to reflect the birth of our Savior with a new baby in my arms. I was sad that we didn't go to Sacrament meeting that day because the Christmas choir program is one of my favorite Sunday's of the year. However, it was nice because Josh and I had a nice slow and relaxing Christmas morning. We had breakfast, got ready for the day, and then opened presents. Sorry, we are not big picture takers, but I did get some.
Me and Tori in front of the tree. The bow stayed on for only a few minutes. She hates bows. I hope she grows out of that soon!
Tori with her new outfit.
Dad showing Tori one of her books.
Fabric blocks I made her.
Josh wrapped one of my presents in a wedding bag. I thought it was funny.
Jack Jack with one of his new toys. He loves them and doesn't know what one to play with. The video is of him going crazy over the toys! It's so cute!
After we opened presents at our house we drove over to my mom's to have lunch (or breakfast for lunch) with my mom's side of the family. It was so crazy because there are so many people! I wanted to take pictures but once again I didn't. It was just to insane. Besides, sweet Tori was in isolation because my niece Sara might have had the chicken pock virus and I didn't want her to get it. The next day we went back to my mom's to have Christmas with just my family. We do that every year because it spreads Christmas out and we are always so tired after the Pratt family Christmas (my mom's side of the family). I can't wait until next year when Santa Claus gets to come and give presents to miss Tori. She will be 1 so Christmas will be really exciting!

4 Years
Four years ago today I married the man of my dreams. It took some convincing and I told him we wouldn't have kids until we were 25, but I think that he is now happy with his decision. I know that I am. The weird part is, we actually decided to have kids before we were 25. Well, we will be 25 this year, so we were close. Anyway, I cannot wait to spend the rest of eternity with him. He is so sweet and awesome! He is a great supporter and loves his little girl. Here are some pictures of us on our wedding day!
May I add that I have the dress that my 9-month-old niece (at the time) wore at our wedding. I am hoping that in 9 months I can have Tori wear that dress while I wear the dress my sister made for my luncheon (a short, colored version of my wedding dress). Maybe Josh will wear the vest and tie as well!

Tuesday Truths
1. The truth is... Jack Jack gives me an evil look every time I come in the family room at night with Tori. I don't think he likes her waking him up (even though he is already awake).
2. The truth is... Josh goes back to school this week. That means he has two long nights a week. I'm intrigued to see how Tori and I do with such long hours together.
3. The truth is... Josh and I went over to his dad's house Sunday for dinner. It was a lot of fun, and he's totally in love with the baby.
4. The truth is... I still have 11 weeks of maternity leave and I am dreading going back to work.
5. The truth is... I'm glad that we have church at 10:30 AM now, it takes me way too long to get ready in the morning (I'm still adjusting to getting 2 people ready) and we would be late if it was still at 8:30 AM.
