Just Swinging

Tori loves being outside. Too bad it is summer and it's just way too hot outside to really do anything (except swim). A few weeks before it got really hot I took Tori on my parents back porch and put her in the bumblebee swing they have. She loved it. I cannot wait for the weather to get cooler so I can swing her more often. Here are some cute pictures of her just swinging.

Tuesday Truths

1. The truth is... Tori is going on her first road trip this weekend. We are going to Prescott. I hope she does well.

2. The truth is... Jack Jack is going to be watched by one of his all-time favorite people (everyone is in his book). Jack, a guy from our ward is going to take care of him.

3. The truth is... I hate Josh's new work/school schedule. I only get to eat dinner with him on Saturdays. Yep, that sucks. At least he comes home for lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

4. The truth is... I had to go through Tori's 12 month clothes today to look for onesies. She mostly needs them for the head hole. Yep, her head is a little large.

5. The truth is... I hate summer. Sweating is NO FUN! Every summer I am tempted to move just to get out of the heat. Then again, I won't because the winters are awesome and my family lives here.

Swimming

We took Tori swimming for the first time on June 5th. (I know, I'm a little behind.) She really liked it. I think she was a little weirded out at first, but she eventually got used to the water. My sister gave me a little penguin floaty to use and she like it, but I prefer to hold her because she is just so adorable. About a week after her first time swimming she went swimming with her cousins. I think she remembered it because she just wanted to splash the whole time. It was so cute! Here are some cute pictures.
Getting ready for the big swim!

Family Picture!
Penguin Floaty! She likes to rest her head on the feet.

All done playing!
Swimming with the cousins a week later.

Scrapbook Olympics: Week 3

Okay, so I will admit, this week was a little bit of a challenge for me. I had everything ready to go for this page and I was excited to create it, but I originally didn't intend to use brads. However, this week you were supposed to use a polka-dotted paper and brads. I think the page turned out really cute, like the other two. Most of the polka-dots are covered up but they are there, in the background. The brads may also be hard to see due to the fact that the are so tiny. If you look in the bottom right-hand corner you will see two large and two small circles. The brads are the small (light blue) circles. Another week has passed, and I would like to think that I'm doing pretty good. Happy scrapbooking everyone!
I should mention that this week's page actually follows last week's page that says "Gettin' Ready for Swimming."

Tuesday Truths

1. The truth is... Tori woke up at 4:30AM yesterday and at 4:00AM today. Yuck! I just want her to wake up at 6:00AM and I'd be happy.

2. The truth is... Jack Jack, Tori, and I go on walks every morning. It's beautiful outside in the morning.

3. The truth is... Josh starts his Bachelors classes today. I now only get to eat dinner with him once a week. This is going to stink.

4. The truth is... Tori crashed yesterday at 4:30 PM. It was a long day for her. It didn't help that she woke up early and then took 3 half hour naps.

5. The truth is... I have already seen a change in Tori since she got her ear tubes on Friday. She is officially rolling over and is actually willing to sit up. Hopefully she will be sitting up by herself soon.
