1. The truth is... Tori is getting to be quite the adventurer now that she can crawl. She is also starting to play a little bit better now that she can move and sit. I still have to sit with her but she will play for a few minutes by herself while I do something I would like to do.
2. The truth is... Josh is going to try to get December 12th off of work so we can take Tori to the zoo for her birthday. I hope he can.
3. The truth is... Josh got a promotion at work! The bad part? He won't have the same boss on December 12th so we are hoping that he can still get the day off. We don't know quite yet when the promotion will take place but it will be soon. Hopefully the hours will be better and we know he gets a little raise. It isn't much, but we are thankful for something.
4. The truth is... I'm so thankful that Halloween falls on Wednesday, the only day Josh gets to have dinner with us (besides the weekend). We can spend the night together as a family for Tori's first Halloween.
5. The truth is... Josh and I can find out on November 8th what we are having. However, we decided to let it be a surprise. I know, my sisters will kill me with the decision because they would want to throw me a baby shower if its a boy but I'm so excited for it to be a surprise! (FYI, if I say he it is only because I think we are having a boy, not because I know its a boy. If it happens to be a girl, then well, we were wrong and she will be loved just the same.)

Please find out and tell us what it is. I can't handle a celebration of the actual kid and the gender all at once. I just can't handle people anticipating this kid even more than they already are.
I am a forgotten member of the family and have to throw a party for myself to get people to even recognize that I exist and deserve to be celebrated, for crying out loud. The decision to leave it a surprise just builds even more anticipation and excitement for it's arrival. I can't handle it. A baby shower would be easier for me. Please, just find out.
